Alex Milbrath

Alex Milbrath is a Sophomore at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, working toward his BFA degree in Sculpture. Alex enjoys working in a multitude of different mediums, believing that materiality is equally influential to process as is conceptuality. His sculptures focus on the revival of traditional techniques in wood, metal, and stone while centering on the intersection between nature, object, and high technology. Alex seeks to inspire future interest and education in Mathematics, Cryptography, Physics, Horology, Geometry, Geology, Biology and other scientific principles through visual representation in the arts.
