So this week at Urban Arts have been pretty chill. The kids have such an imagination. Being with them has helped me spark that old imagination that seemed to have diminished over the years. I have also been thinking about what I would want to teach them. I noticed that they like being to make 3-dimensional objects and Lynda gave me the idea to consider having them work with clay. I want to ask Rosey if that's something they might be interested in.
At Juxta, got to learn more about the screen printing process, and also the reasoning behind why the designs are placed in a certain area. I had a good talk with Johnny and Ben about what I was thinking about I wanted to do and they gave me some really great feedback. I plan on making a list of questions I could ask the apprentices.
In a few weeks, I'll be back at Simpson housing with Melodee Strong. I can't wait to get back to observing and helping out.
