This week, I had the pleasure of finishing up my first teaching lesson at Urban Arts Academy. The kids painted their products they made last week and gave their pitches. I can't tell you how happy it made me when those kids asked me if we were going to finish the products. I was so happy that they were waiting and remembered everything we talked about last week! The pitches went well too, they all had great things to share with the class. At first, they weren't too happy about sharing what they made, but little by little they stood up in front of the room proudly to share what they made.
The rest of the week was pretty slow. There wasn't a session this Sunday at UAA, and for Juxta I suffered such a splitting migraine all day with no relief from my medication I couldn't get myself to go. These upcoming weeks I plan on working on my lesson for Juxta.
