Ashley Koudou
Ashley Koudou is a 20-year-old Ivorian-American artist in here in Minneapolis. She is currently in her junior year at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, (MCAD) working towards her BFA in advertising and a teaching artist minor. She has some experience doing volunteer work with children, including reading and face painting, and is interested in working with kids in middle and high school during after school programs.
As an artist, she believes that art is a great way for young students to create what they think is right, in a world that tells them that they are wrong. She wants to be able to work with young students and teach them that anyone can be creative in their way. She believes in the power art can bring to individual minds and wants to teach them to approach art in a different way than what they're used to doing.
