Claire Donaghue is a junior at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, pursuing a BFA in Comic Art. She grew up in the backwoods of Maine, but is a recent and happy transplant to Minnesota. She's an illustrator and cartoonist who likes telling stories and drawing wizards who are bad at being wizards.
As a teaching artist, Claire acted as a teaching assistant for MCAD's Studio Kids Summer program working with students from ages six to nine. She also volunteered as a mentor with Art Buddies in Minneapolis, an after school program based around one-on-one creative mentoring with 5th grade students. Along with that, Claire has a history of participating in both community and children's theater, helping supervise, entertain, and orchestrate plays and musicals.
