Di Zhou

Di Zhou is currently a Senior pursuing BFA in Furniture Design and a minor in Advertising at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She designs and builds studio furniture with a variety of materials including wood, steel, bamboo, concrete, and fiberglass. She seeks to bring enjoyment and fun into the living spaces through the combination of beauty and function in her furniture works.

She has taught beginner English to pre-school children in China in the summer of 2019. She really enjoyed teaching young children and want to bring them the joy of art. She is currently work-studying in the 3D shop at MCAD, she teaches foundation students how to use machines and tools in the 3D shop. In the future, she also wants to teach woodworking skills to young adults and inspire them to become creative makers.
