Duncan Richardson

Through playful use of oil paint and various drawing techniques, Duncan Richardson is an artist that hopes to inspire more than those around him one day. His work harmonizes unique narratives and family histories with an emphasis on material exploration. While patient and open minded, Duncan will never leave an individual without acknowledging their words.

Currently on track to graduate from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2021, Duncan is a junior in the Drawing and Painting BFA aiming for a minor in Arts Education. Maybe wishful thinking, but his goal in teaching high-school, to college, aged students is an attempt to instill a peaceful will within them in order to hopefully establish a kinder tomorrow.
