Emma Konrad

Emma Konrad graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Drawing and Painting and a Teaching Artist Minor in December, 2020. Emma also maintains a freelance ceramics practice. Her work centers around studying color relationships, more frequently within organic and figurative imagery. Emma works with oil paint, soft pastel, watercolor, charcoal, graphite and clay, however, is always expanding their practice. 

Emma has spent the last 4 ½ years working with children aged 6 weeks to 14 years with the YMCA in the childcare and camp divisions. Starting Fall of 2019, Emma started teaching an adult’s ceramics course out of a community education program. She is interested in growth-oriented learning and teaching styles within an arts education.
