Greer Coffman

Greer Coffman is a freelance illustrator/teaching artist, with a focus on product/merchandise design. She is working towards a BFA in Illustration with a Teaching Artist minor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

She has four years experience working with children across all age groups during various classes and workshops at the Des Moines Art Center, in both an instructional and facilitation role. There, she has assisted teaching classes on illustration, as well as drawing and painting, photography, screen printing and many other mediums. Her main goal through teaching is to share her accumulation of knowledge and resources to show others another way to express themself artistically. It is this concept, knowledge given to her by others, that allows her to do her own personal illustration practice, so sharing her experience as well is, to her, a vital part of continuing that cycle.
