 Grover Hogan

Working in multiple mediums, such as comics, oil paintings, soft sculpture, and installation, Grover Hogan explore ideas of identity, race, and culture in relation to religion, self-perception, and outside perspective. Their work is heavily inspired by biblical themes and cultural symbols.

Grover is currently pursuing their BFA in Fine Arts Studio: Drawing and Painting with minors in Teaching Art and Art History. They have been in childcare for 6 years and have worked with the Native Youth Arts Collective on an art gallery exhibition that focused on the concept of safety, security, and home.

Grover is interested in working with children in elementary and middle school as they believe that children are the most receptive to new forms of art. They also believe that learning about and creating art would help a child with their critical thinking skills and emotional development.
