Kristina Wacker is a senior Illustration major at MCAD, pursuing minors in both Creative Writing and Teaching Artist. Much of her work revolves around the themes of fantasy and nature, a contrast to the more “why” and “how” fueled trains of thought in her actual life. Her primary mediums are pen and ink, watercolor, digital illustration, and poetry --though she’s always keen to stick her fingers into new pies.
Kristina loves dabbling, whether that may be in medium or method, and she hopes to foster the same curiosity for the world that drives her own artistic practice in her students. Her goal as a teacher is to give teenagers and young adults the skills, tools, and resources to pursue their own interests in art.
