Lucy Comer is a sophomore at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, currently perusing a BFA degree in Illustration. She has worked with kids through numerous organizations where she helped facilitate conversations and activities related to art.  She has worked with Minneapolis Institute of Art and Hennepin County Libraries to bring focused discussions about art as well as art making to elementary aged kids at their local libraries. Additionally, she has been a volunteer summer camp counselor for the past three years working with elementary and middle school aged children, creating and single handedly running their arts programming. Lucy finds involvement in art vital for children and wishes to help give them a positive and accessible experience so that as they grow they continue to think creatively.
