John Otto is currently a junior in college and working towards his Bachelor of Fine Arts in animation with a possible minor in Art Teaching at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Growing up in rural Dickinson, North Dakota, he has wanted to travel somewhere larger that focused in the arts. In college, he found many unknown passions, like animation and story making, which both give a sense of wonder. His main goal is to inspire the next generations to come with his animation and storytelling.

As a teaching artist, he has hands on experience with training and guiding people to strive for hard work to reach their true potential. He has helped others learn how to draw online for a period of time and is always excited to share his knowledge.
