Cassidy Walker

Cassidy Walker is a junior photography major at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her photographic practice spans over many subjects, including self-portraiture and documentary styles. Her work often includes themes of nostalgia and the connection of these feelings to physical spaces, both natural and constructed.

Cassidy enjoys working with students of all ages but has spent the most time mentoring elementary school students at a LEGO Robotics summer camp. Her main goal as an educator in this setting was to help team members find their strengths and personal interests to build self-confidence and a love for learning. She plans to combine her experience teaching STEM with her appreciation of the arts and arts education to help students of all ages explore their interests and ideas.
