Jack Powers

Jack Powers is in his fourth year at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, working toward his BFA in photography while also minoring as a Teaching Artist. He is the recipient of the 2019 MCAD Merit Scholarship for Photography.

Jack primarily focuses on the use of large format film cameras and alternative photo processes. He is interested in preserving alternative photo processes, by teaching others how to use them. He also is interested in how photography is used in today's society. His goal is to open a new perspective to people.
