DJ Yang is currently a sophomore at Minneapolis College of Art and Design seeking a BFA in animation. She grew up in a large family of nine, but being the second to last child, she has high experience in babysitting her nephews and nieces at an early age. She has been teaching children of Pre-K to K at her church for two years now. DJ also volunteers through her church events helping with face painting and other creative projects.

Art has always been an important asset in her life since she grew up with cartoons and anime. She seeks out ways to influence others through her creative works, normally through narrative stories. DJ has experience with making short comics along with creating storyboards for animation. She hopes to help young children and adults alike express themselves using art as a medium to do so.
