Betsy Lehr is currently a senior at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design studying for an Illustration major and a Teaching Artist minor, as well as working as a peer tutor at the college. As a peer tutor, she encourages others to grow and challenge themselves to become better writers and artists. She is passionate about accessibility in arts education - especially for inner-city programs and programs for people with disabilities – and interested in making the learning process fun. Betsy believes that having experiences with teachers that engage you encourage not only your skill in the subject, but your confidence, aspirations, and well-being. She hopes to inspire others as a teacher while working as a freelance illustrator.
