Servanda Alcantara

Servanda Alcantara is working towards her BFA in Web and Multimedia Environments at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She works in a variety of different mediums including video, sculpture, painting, animation, and printmaking. She has also experimented with outdoor and indoor installations. Most of Servanda’s work is influenced by family concepts and self image. 

They also have an interest in Arts Education and believe that everyone's individual experience with education is greatly influenced by the people that surround them. She wants to be sure students are comfortable in their educational settings and feel they can express themselves around their teachers and peers. She also believes that education should promote creativity and creative thinking for youth as well as older generations.
