Stella Williams
Stella Williams is a Twin Cities based artist pursuing her BFA in Illustration with a Teaching Artist Minor at MCAD. She primarily works digitally but also has a passion for knitting, weaving, ceramics and painting.
She hopes to share with students how art can be used as a means of exploring and understanding interpersonal relationships, conflict, community and expression of the self. Stella uses illustration as a means of storytelling, and teaching as a means of embracing community. In both, she firmly believes there is no one style, method or process in reaching a goal, and instead strives to use individualized approaches based on the needs of the goal.
Stella is currently the Education Intern at Highpoint Center for Printmaking, assisting in leading workshops for groups of all ages. After MCAD, Stella plans to pursue her Masters of Arts in Teaching in Seattle.
