Well this was quite the week! I was finally able to get started on putting some of the important work together for art buddies. I just put some music on and systematically packaged up the right materials for their little packets. I got pretty far, but I still don't have 75 yet. I’m also going to put together 75 of the ‘mentor packets’ as well, and I got a head start on gathering the craft materials in one big box. I spent 4 hours doing that this week, spread across a couple days, and the last hour I spent filling out info in the church spreadsheet. I don’t have a couple of the materials I need to fully complete these, but Mari told me not to sweat it, since whatever ones I’m missing she’ll add to the packets afterward. So far, it's been a lot of fun! It’ll be awesome when the kids finally get to use these materials themselves. Let’s just hope the weather warms up a bit by then.
