This week was the busiest for me! I had a small little collaboration with a group that there was going to be the opening on Friday, 19. In my group there are 6 people and including myself is 7. But it was a struggle because my group, there were two people, that wasn’t really communicating well and it made it a bit stressful because we couldn’t put everything up for the final installation or know what they were doing. We had so much to do but on Friday I came very early to do to hand some works and to print their essays. Than 3 people came to help in which they did a great job in getting things to me and they were communicating with the group well. I went with the teacher to get the Pupusas that was the main food for the opening. Which was fun and it was the most beautiful day to go driving! We got the installation done! It was amazing and good. It felt like the opening was inviting and home. It didn’t feel like the other opening in the school. But the installation for my group and the others did an amazing job! I was so happy for my class and my professor who made it possible for this small gallery show. I am very happy with my group, yeah, there were only 2 people who were not on board, but overall I am happy on how we did it and how well we worked hard.

What I learned about this collaboration, it takes patience and communicating is always key but the most important part, for me, was that we all worked together and created an amazing installation!

Down below is our groups installation. We had voice recording on what is our place and that was the point of our installation. We also had our written on what we said in the recordings so people can read along while listening. We used our art pieces to collaborate with it together. To get people to join us and to spread the world we created a poster! In which is the first image.
